The San Antonio Kappa Alpha Psi Education Foundation as community-development tool includes developing policies that reinforce the link between public schools and communities, opening up lines of communication between different stakeholders, and increasing the availability of funding, technical assistance and other resources to facilitate comprehensive community-development strategies. 

The San Antonio Alumni chapter Kappa Alpha Psi Education Foundation was incorporated in 1990 in the State of Texas as a nonprofit entity to provide programs benefiting youths in San Antonio, Texas. The Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation of San Antonio TX, Inc. (Foundation) is a nonprofit charitable entity that has been granted tax‐exempt status by the Internal Revenue Service as a Section 501 (C)(3) organization.
